Adele to perform Bond theme song "Skyfall" live at Oscars

British singer Adele will debut her Oscar-nominated song "Skyfall" at the 85th Academy Awards on  February 24 in Los Angeles.


The 24-year-old singer will be eyeing for Skyfall's third award. The James Bond theme already received the award for Best Song at 18th Critics' Choice Awards and Best Original Song during 70th Golden Globe Awards.

Adele and Paul Epworth co-wrote "Skyfall" theme and the Oscar battle will be against "Before My Time" from Chasing Ice – J. Ralph, "Everybody Needs a Best Friend" from Ted – Walter Murphy and Seth MacFarlane, "Pi's Lullaby" from Life of Pi – Mychael Danna and "Suddenly" from Les Misérables – Claude-Michel Schönberg, Herbert Kretzmer, and Alain Boublil.
